Chain Reaction is a science magazine for students in grades 4-8, published by the Office of Research Communications at Arizona State University. The magazine explores scientific concepts using real research explained by working scientists. Its goal is to spark interest in science and higher education and to provide teachers with a high-quality resource.

The chart explains the electromagnetic spectrum to children—emphasizing the scale of each type of wavelength by matching its length in meters with an everyday object children can recognize. I designed all the visual and iconic elements, except the icons of humans and insects.
